Satellite Quattro LNB FTE eXcellento HD Black 0.1 dB, model 20709
Quattro LNB FTE eXcellento HD Black (model 20709) is a satellite downconverter engineered for multi-output distribution systems. With a very low noise figure of 0.1 dB, this Quattro LNB delivers four fixed outputs that separate low and high frequency bands as well as horizontal and vertical polarizations. It is intended for connection to multiswitches and distribution networks to feed multiple tuners in professional and residential satellite installations supporting DVB-S and DVB-S2 reception.
The device combines a low noise figure and stable conversion performance to ensure minimal signal degradation across long cable runs and complex multiswitch topologies. Its Quattro configuration provides dedicated outputs for each band/polarization, simplifying integration with multiswitches and enabling consistent signal levels to each tuner line. The robust housing and industry-standard F-type connector interface support reliable operation in both indoor and sheltered outdoor setup locations.
Mount the LNB at the focal point of a compatible parabolic satellite dish and align the dish to the target satellite following standard satellite installation procedures. Connect the four F-type outputs to the corresponding inputs of a multiswitch: low band horizontal, low band vertical, high band horizontal and high band vertical. Ensure cable runs use appropriate low-loss coaxial cable and that the multiswitch and distribution amplifiers, if used, are powered and configured correctly. Perform signal level and quality measurements at tuner inputs and adjust dish alignment as needed to reach desired reception thresholds for DVB-S/DVB-S2 channels.
Use weatherproof F-connector boots or sealed adaptors on exposed connections and choose low-loss, properly grounded coaxial cables to preserve the LNB’s low-noise performance across the distribution system.
