When it may not be suitable

This lid is not suitable for pots or pans with diameters other than 20 cm, as an incorrect size will not provide a secure or safe fit. It is also not designed for high-temperature oven use unless explicitly rated for such conditions by the manufacturer, and it should be kept away from direct open flames.

Key specifications

• Diameter: 20 cm
• Dimensions: 21 x 21 x 6.5 cm
• Material: Transparent glass
• Application: Pots and pans

How to use

Place the Galicja glass lid securely on top of a compatible 20 cm pot or pan to cover the opening completely. Ensure the lid rests evenly on the rim to trap heat and steam effectively during cooking. Allow the glass to cool down gradually after cooking before cleaning to prevent thermal shock, and wash it using standard dish soap and a non-abrasive sponge.

What to consider before purchase

• Verify the exact outer or inner diameter of your existing pot or pan to ensure it measures 20 cm
• Check if your cookware features a rim style that accommodates standard flat or domed lids
• Consider whether you prefer transparent glass for monitoring food consistency

Usage recommendations: Handle the glass lid with care to avoid accidental impacts against hard surfaces. Avoid placing a hot lid directly onto cold surfaces or into cold water immediately after use to prevent cracking from thermal shock.
