Galicja Glass lid 26cm 9787

The Galicja Glass lid 26cm 9787 is a practical and essential kitchenware accessory designed to enhance your everyday cooking experience. Crafted from transparent glass with a matching 26 cm diameter, this lid allows you to conveniently monitor the cooking progress of your meals without needing to lift the cover, thereby helping to retain consistent heat and moisture inside your pots and pans. It serves as a reliable replacement for damaged covers or as a versatile addition to your existing cookware collection.

Advantages

Using this glass lid helps maintain optimal cooking temperatures and seals in natural flavors and moisture, resulting in more evenly cooked dishes. The transparent design ensures visibility at all times, reducing the need to disrupt the cooking process. Built for everyday culinary tasks, it integrates smoothly into standard kitchen routines and fits securely on compatible cookware.

Suitable for

• Covering pots and pans with a 26 cm diameter during boiling, simmering, or stewing
• Replacing lost or broken lids in your current cookware set
• Monitoring cooking progress visually without heat loss

When it may not be suitable

This lid is not suitable for cookware items that do not measure 26 cm in diameter, as an improper fit will prevent it from sealing correctly. It should also not be used if the specific cooking vessel requires specialized, non-vented, or heavy-duty proprietary lids supplied directly by the original manufacturer.

Key specifications

• Diameter: 26 cm
• Dimensions: 27 x 27 x 7 cm
• Material: Glass
• Transparent design for visual monitoring

How to use

Place the glass lid securely on top of any compatible 26 cm pot or pan before turning on the heat, or position it over the vessel while cooking is already underway. Ensure the rim aligns evenly with the edge of the cookware to trap heat and steam effectively. Handle the lid carefully during and after cooking, as glass surfaces can become hot during use.

What to consider before purchase

• Verify the exact outer diameter of your existing pots or pans to ensure it matches the 26 cm size
• Check that your cookware can accommodate a standard glass lid
• Assess whether you need a replacement for an existing damaged cover

Usage recommendations: Always allow the glass lid to cool down naturally after cooking before cleaning it to prevent thermal shock. Wash it with standard dishwashing liquid and a non-abrasive sponge to maintain surface clarity.
