How to use

Turn the Pro-Pointer II on using the large power button. Sweep the tip slowly over the search area to locate the strongest response; use the shrink detection field and audio feedback to narrow the position of the target. If you encounter mineralized ground or wet sand, perform quick on/off cycles to retune the unit and reduce false signals. If the unit is left on without a button press, warning chirps begin after five minutes and the unit will automatically power off after an additional hour of chirping.

Usage recommendations

Do not submerge the unit beyond the power switch. The tip may be rinsed under running water or the unit may be used in rain, but avoid prolonged immersion. Replace the 9 V battery when low and store the detector in its belt holster when not in use.
