GBC Standard Thermal Binding Covers are designed for use with the GBC ThermaBind system to create a permanent, perfect-bound finish for documents. The transparent 150 micron PVC front allows the title page to be visible while the silk-finish white back forms a rigid spine. This A4 40mm cover binds up to 370 sheets and is supplied in a pack of 50.

How to use

Place the assembled document into the thermal binding machine according to the ThermaBind instructions, ensuring the title page is aligned behind the transparent PVC front. Heat and press following the machine’s cycle to fuse the spine. Allow the bound document to cool before removing it from the machine to ensure a secure finish.

Usage recommendations

For archiving in conventional folders, use a GBC FileStrip when storing bound documents only if using covers up to 8 mm thick. Select the appropriate cover thickness (available from 1.5 mm to 50 mm) based on the number of sheets to achieve the best binding result.
