GBC LeatherGrain Thermal Binding Covers create a professional paperback-style finish for A4 documents quickly and without fasteners. These 1.5 mm red PVC covers include a transparent front and an integrated spine loaded with pre-formed high-contact adhesive, allowing the glue to penetrate sheet fibres and form a secure, book-like spine. Each cover is suitable for use with ThermaBind™ thermal binding systems and is available in packs of 100 for high-volume binding.

How to use

Collate and square your A4 pages, then insert them into a GBC LeatherGrain ThermaBind™ cover sized for the document thickness. Place the assembled covers and pages into a ThermaBind™ thermal binding unit that has reached its ready temperature. Start the binding cycle; exact bind time depends on the thermal binder model. When the unit indicates completion, remove the document and allow it to cool for approximately 30 seconds (room temperature may affect cooling time) to reach maximum adhesive bond strength.

Usage recommendations

Use covers that match the document thickness and ensure pages are well squared before binding. Allow the bound document to cool fully before handling. Store covers flat and away from direct heat to preserve adhesive performance.
