Plier Gedore 2668211 Weight 183 g
Plier Gedore 2668211 Weight 183 g is a slim, adjustable plier designed for gripping, holding and bending tasks in both professional and DIY settings. Constructed from Gedore special chrome-vanadium steel, the tool features long slim jaws and a slender head to access tight spaces, with induction-rehardened serrated faces and offset gripping faces that provide self-gripping of nuts and pipes.
The plier offers a safety box joint with protection against blocking and fine adjustment with multiple settings (model-dependent). It allows single-hand push-button adjustment for quick size changes. The hardened serrations on the jaws improve grip and durability, while different finish options (steel-grey with blue-dipped handle protectors or chrome-plated with two-component handles) suit user preference and working conditions.
Select the required jaw opening using the single-hand push-button adjustment and fine adjustment settings. Position the long slim jaws around the workpiece—nut, pipe or small part—so the offset gripping faces engage. Apply controlled pressure to grip or bend the part, and release the push-button to change the jaw position when needed. Use the slender head to reach confined spaces and avoid excessive force that could damage the workpiece or tool.
Inspect the plier before use for wear or damage to serrations and the box joint. Choose the handle finish that matches the working environment—TL for non-slip protection or JC for a corrosion-resistant chrome finish. Do not use the plier as a hammer or for cutting hardened fasteners; maintain and clean after use to prolong tool life.
