Gelid RB-GR02-B rubber mounting kit is designed to secure cooling components such as case fans and small heatsinks while isolating vibration from the PC chassis. Manufactured from ultra-soft, heat-resistant rubber, the mounts provide mechanical decoupling and electrical insulation for fan installations in desktop computers and custom cooling setups. The universal design accommodates common fan sizes and case mounting hole diameters, offering a simple, tool-less solution for replacing worn mounts or reducing noise and vibration transmission.

Push the mount through the case hole from the exterior or interior as required, then align the fan so its mounting holes match the rubber mount posts. Insert the posts through the fan holes until the retaining head engages, ensuring the fan is held securely while the rubber body isolates vibration. To remove, compress the retaining head and pull the mount out. Follow standard safety procedures: disconnect power before working inside the PC and avoid excessive force that could deform surrounding components.

Usage recommendations

Use these mounts on fans up to the specified size and weight limits to ensure reliable retention and effective vibration isolation. For optimal vibration reduction, install mounts at all four fan corners and periodically inspect rubber parts for signs of wear or hardening, replacing them if elasticity decreases.
