How to use

Before applying, clean both mating surfaces (processor heat spreader and heatsink base) with isopropyl alcohol and a lint-free cloth. Apply a small, pea-sized amount of Gelid GC-4 to the center of the processor or spread thinly using the included applicator for larger or non-standard surfaces. Mount the heatsink evenly and secure according to the manufacturer’s instructions to allow the thermal paste to fill microscopic gaps and establish optimal thermal contact.

Usage recommendations

Use the product in a clean, dry workspace and avoid contaminating the paste with dust or skin oils. Only a thin, continuous layer is required for effective heat transfer — excess paste does not improve performance. Because Gelid GC-4 is non-electrically conductive, accidental overflow is less likely to cause short circuits, but care should still be taken when working around exposed contacts. Store the tube or sachet in a cool, dry place when not in use.
