Thermal pad Gelid Solutions TP-GP04-R-B Density 3.2 g/cm³ 120x20x1 mm
The Gelid Solutions TP-GP04-R-B Density 3.2 g/cm³ 120x20x1 mm is a thermal pad engineered to improve heat transfer between electronic components and heatsinks. With a thickness of 1 mm and a sheet size of 120 x 20 mm, it is intended for use where height differences and uneven surfaces exist on PCBs. The pad is formulated to provide reliable thermal interface performance for components that require efficient heat dissipation.
This thermal pad offers a high-density matrix at 3.2 g/cm³ designed to conform to component and heatsink surfaces, reducing thermal resistance across interfaces. It is non-electrically conductive and non-corrosive, which minimizes the risk of short circuits or damage to nearby circuits. The material is stable across a wide operating temperature range and does not cure, preserving reusability and mechanical compliance during service life.
Clean the surfaces of both the component and the heatsink to remove dust, residue or old thermal material. Cut the thermal pad to the required shape if necessary and remove any protective liners. Place the pad between the component and heatsink, aligning it to cover the contact area fully, then apply even pressure to ensure conformity and contact. Reassemble the device and verify that mechanical fixtures secure the heatsink evenly across the pad.
Use the pad for interfaces with moderate to significant height variation and on components where electrical insulation is required. Avoid stretching the pad when fitting; ensure flat, even contact and confirm that clamping pressure is uniform. Replace the pad if it shows physical degradation or reduced compliance after extended service.
