Thermal pad Gelid Gelid Extreme TP-GP05-E 120×20×3.0 mm
Gelid Gelid Extreme TP-GP05-E 120×20×3.0 mm is a preformed thermal pad engineered to provide effective heat transfer between electronic components and heatsinks. With a thickness of 3.0 mm and a compact 120×20 mm footprint, this compliant interface material fills gaps and bridges surface irregularities without using liquid thermal paste. It is intended for applications in PC cooling, power modules and electronics assemblies where a stable, non-flowing thermal interface is required.
The thermal pad delivers consistent thermal conduction across mismatched surfaces while remaining non-liquid and easy to handle. Its pre-cut dimensions reduce preparation time and eliminate mess associated with paste application. The compliant material adapts to uneven surfaces to improve contact area and thermal performance over hard interfaces. Installation is reversible and the pad maintains its shape and thickness under normal operating conditions.
Clean both contact surfaces with isopropyl alcohol and allow to dry before installation. Peel any protective liners from the pad and place it directly on the cooler or component, aligning the pad so it covers the intended contact area. Apply even, moderate pressure when assembling the heatsink to ensure full contact and displacement of air pockets. If removal is required, lift gently from an edge and replace with a new pad if the surface becomes contaminated or deformed.
Use the Gelid Extreme pad where a fixed-thickness, non-flowing thermal interface is preferred. Avoid stretching the pad during installation and ensure surfaces are free of dust, grease and adhesive residues to maintain optimal thermal contact. Replace the pad if it shows compression set or contamination that could reduce thermal performance.
