The Gembird AUSI01 is a USB-to-PATA (IDE) and SATA adapter that lets you connect 2.5" and 3.5" drives and use them as removable storage on any computer. The compact black adapter supports HDDs and optical drives and includes a separate power adapter for 3.5" drives. Data transfer is limited by the USB 2.0 interface and the drive’s own performance, with real-world speeds up to about 30 MB/s.
