Power distribution unit Gembird EG-PDU-014-FC14, 8 AC outlets, C14 input, 3 m cable, 1U aluminium housing, 10 A, 3680 W
The Gembird EG-PDU-014-FC14 is a 1U rack-mount power distribution unit designed to deliver reliable AC power to multiple devices in server racks and network cabinets. Constructed with a black aluminum housing and equipped with a C14 power plug and a 3 m power cable, this PDU provides eight AC outlets with a maximum current rating of 16 A and a total power capacity up to 3680 W at an AC input frequency of 50 Hz. Its compact form factor (432 mm width × 44 mm depth × 44 mm height) and lightweight design make it suitable for installations where space is limited.
The EG-PDU-014-FC14 combines a compact 1U profile and durable aluminum construction to offer stable power distribution in confined rack spaces while keeping weight to a minimum. With eight AC outlets it allows connection of multiple servers, switches or other IT equipment without the need for separate extension leads. The integrated 3 m cable and C14 plug simplify installation into standard rack power sources, and the 16 A maximum current rating supports typical rack-mounted loads up to the unit's power capacity.
Mount the PDU in a 1U space within a standard equipment rack using appropriate rack screws or brackets. Ensure the rack power feed is compatible with the C14 plug and that the supply is rated to provide at least the PDU's maximum current. Connect the EG-PDU-014-FC14 to the rack power source, then plug equipment into the available AC outlets. Distribute connected devices to avoid exceeding the 16 A limit and the total power capacity of 3680 W. Route the cable to avoid sharp bends and secure it to prevent strain on the connector.
Check the combined power draw of connected devices and plan outlet usage to remain within the unit's 16 A and 3680 W limits. Use the PDU in well-ventilated rack environments and avoid placing heavy objects on top of the unit to preserve the aluminum housing and airflow around rack-mounted equipment.
