Rack accessory Gembird NPP-C524CM-001, steel housing, black, 800 g
Gembird NPP-C524CM-001 is a rack accessory in a black steel housing, weighing 800 g and engineered for mounting in standard 19-inch racks and cabinets. The unit is intended to support lightweight components, organise cabling and provide a compact, space-saving high-density panel solution for server rooms, network closets and telecommunication enclosures. The front includes a write-on designation label with a clear holder, while the rear cover features a wire management bar to help maintain proper cable bend radius and provide strain relief.
The electrostatic powder-coated steel construction delivers corrosion-resistant surface protection and mechanical stability for everyday rack use. Designed for easy integration with EIA/TIA T568B and T568A wiring configurations, the panel accepts top, bottom or side cable entry to accommodate different cable routing strategies. Contacts are plated with 50 µin gold where applicable to ensure reliable connectivity and reduced contact oxidation over time, and the compact 19" design conserves rack space in high-density installations.
Install the panel into any standard 19-inch rack or cabinet using appropriate rack screws or cage nuts according to your cabinet hardware. Route patch cables into the panel from the top, bottom or side depending on your rack layout. Terminate cables following EIA/TIA T568B or T568A wiring standards as required by your network design. Use the rear wire management bar to position cables and maintain proper bend radius, and label each port using the write-on designation label in the front holder for clear identification.
For optimal cable performance and longevity, avoid sharp bends near termination points and maintain recommended bend radii. Use appropriate strain-relief practices and secure cables to the wire management bar. Follow your organisation's cabling standard (T568A or T568B) consistently across the installation.
