Thermal grease GENESIS Silicon 900 Grey is a high-performance thermal interface compound designed to improve heat transfer between electronic components and heatsinks. The compound offers high thermal conductivity and a safe, non-conductive formula. The package includes an applicator spatula and a moistened cleaning wipe for easy application and cleanup.
GENESIS Silicon 900 provides high thermal conductivity (12.8 W/m·K) and delivers optimal heat transfer immediately after application without preheating. The formula is electrically non-conductive and corrosion-resistant, reducing the risk of short circuits and component damage. The included spatula and wet wipe simplify application and surface preparation, and the compound’s density (2.8 g/cm³) ensures even spreading.
Clean the surfaces of the component and heatsink with the included moistened wipe, removing old thermal compound and debris. Apply a small, pea-sized amount of GENESIS Silicon 900 onto the centre of the component die or heat source, then use the supplied spatula to spread a thin, even layer across the contact surface. Reassemble the device ensuring even pressure between the heatsink and the component to achieve uniform contact and heat transfer.
Apply a thin, continuous layer—excess compound can reduce thermal performance. Ensure both mating surfaces are clean and dry before application. Reapply if removing the heatsink or during routine maintenance; observe the product’s maximum operating temperature of 250 °C.
