Description

The Genie 255 CD paper shredder is a compact strip-cut machine with a 22 cm working width that reliably shreds up to 7 sheets of DIN A4 (80 g/m²) at once or one CD/DVD/credit card per cycle. It has separate cutting units and collection compartments for paper and for CDs/DVDs/credit cards, and a paper basket of approximately 12 litres. The unit is mains powered (220–240 V), CE certified and designed in a black and silver finish for home or small office use.

The shredder produces approximately 7 mm wide strips for paper and cuts CDs/DVDs/credit cards into four pieces. It features an automatic start/stop function and a three-position main switch (AUTO / OFF / REVERSE) to clear jams. How to use

Place the shredder on a stable surface and connect it to a suitable 220–240 V mains outlet. Switch the main control to AUTO to enable automatic start/stop when feeding paper or media. Insert up to 7 sheets of A4 paper into the paper slot or insert one CD/DVD or credit card into the designated slot. If a jam occurs, use the REVERSE position to clear the feed path and then resume operation. Regularly empty the paper basket and the separate container for media to maintain performance.
