Video cable adapter DeLOCK 61766 VGA (D-Sub) to DisplayPort 0.125 m White
Video cable adapter DeLOCK 61766 VGA (D-Sub) to DisplayPort 0.125 m White
DeLOCK 61766 is a compact 0.125 m video cable adapter that converts an analog VGA (D-Sub) signal to DisplayPort. Housed in a white casing, the adapter provides a direct physical connection between devices with VGA output and displays or capture devices with DisplayPort input, enabling simple signal routing, testing, or temporary connections where legacy VGA sources must interface with DisplayPort-only equipment.
The adapter supports common VGA resolutions including VGA, SVGA, XGA, SXGA, UXGA and HDTV up to 1080p and includes standby detection to enter sleep mode automatically when no signal is present. The DisplayPort connector follows DisplayPort 1.1a specification and the VGA port is equipped with screw nuts for secure mechanical fastening. A built-in ferrite core reduces high-frequency interference for more stable signal transmission over the short cable length.
Connect the VGA output of the source device to the VGA side of the adapter using the VGA cable and secure it with the screw nuts. Insert the DisplayPort male connector into the DisplayPort input of the target display or capture device. Ensure both devices are powered on and set to the appropriate input/source. The adapter is designed for short-distance connections and does not require additional drivers or external power.
Use the adapter for short, temporary connections and testing rather than as a permanent installation. Ensure secure fastening of the VGA screws to avoid intermittent contact. Because this adapter converts an analog VGA signal to DisplayPort, expect the output to conform to the supported resolutions up to 1080p; higher digital resolutions are not guaranteed. Keep the adapter in a dry environment and avoid excessive bending of the short cable to preserve connector integrity.
