GF Compression Tee 20mm

The GF Compression Tee 20mm is a professional-grade plumbing component engineered for creating secure, T-shaped junctions in 20mm piping systems. Designed for efficiency and reliability, this fitting facilitates a robust connection between three pipe segments, ensuring consistent flow and structural integrity in various fluid transport networks. Its construction prioritizes ease of assembly and long-term performance in both residential and commercial environments.

Advantages

This compression tee offers significant benefits for plumbing installations, primarily due to its tool-free assembly process which saves time and reduces labor requirements. The design incorporates high-quality materials that resist corrosion and mechanical stress, ensuring a dependable, leak-proof seal over extended periods of operation. Its versatility allows it to be used in diverse configurations, providing a stable solution for branching water lines without the need for soldering or specialized welding equipment.

Suitable for

• Residential water supply systems
• Garden irrigation and sprinkler networks
• Commercial plumbing distribution lines
• Temporary or permanent fluid transport setups

When it may not be suitable

This fitting is specifically designed for 20mm pipes and may not be compatible with piping systems of different diameters or materials. It is not intended for high-pressure industrial steam applications or systems involving aggressive chemical substances that could degrade the sealing components.

Key specifications

• Connection type: Compression
• Pipe diameter compatibility: 20mm
• Configuration: Tee (three-way)
• Material: Durable plumbing-grade polymer/metal alloy
• Application: Water supply and irrigation

How to use

To install the GF Compression Tee, ensure the pipe ends are cut cleanly and are free of burrs or debris. Insert the pipe into the fitting until it reaches the internal stop. Tighten the compression nut by hand or with a suitable wrench until firm resistance is felt. This action compresses the internal seal against the pipe, creating a watertight connection. Always verify that the pipe is fully inserted to prevent potential leaks under pressure.

What to consider before purchase

• Verify the outer diameter of your existing piping matches the 20mm specification.
• Ensure the pipe material is compatible with compression-style fittings.
• Check the maximum pressure rating of your system against the fitting specifications.
• Confirm the number of connections required for your specific layout.

Usage recommendations

For optimal performance, ensure that the pipe is inserted straight into the fitting and that the compression nut is not overtightened, as this may damage the internal sealing mechanism. Periodically inspect connections for signs of moisture or pressure loss after initial installation.
