The Gigabyte R283-ZF0-AAL1 rev 3.x ATX Black is a server-grade computer case engineered for dense, high-performance workstation and data center deployments. It supports dual AMD EPYC 9004/9005 CPUs and can house up to four full‑length GPUs, while providing space for multiple high-speed storage devices. The chassis includes room for up to twelve 2.5" NVMe/SATA drives and is designed to accept redundant dual 2700W power supplies, offering stable power delivery for sustained heavy workloads.
This chassis delivers a combination of expandability, cooling capability and power redundancy suited to professional compute environments. Its support for dual-socket EPYC platforms and multiple GPUs enables high parallel processing density, while the 12-bay 2.5" layout accommodates a significant amount of NVMe or SATA storage in a compact footprint. Dual 2700W power supplies provide N+N redundancy for continuous operation, and the ATX-compatible layout simplifies integration with standard server motherboards and components.
Install a compatible dual-socket EPYC motherboard into the ATX-compatible mounting points, then fit the two processors and their cooling solutions according to the CPU cooler manufacturer’s instructions. Mount GPUs into available PCIe slots using the chassis’ riser or bracket system, ensuring proper spacing and airflow. Populate the 2.5" drive bays with NVMe or SATA drives using provided trays or brackets and connect to the motherboard storage connectors. Install the dual 2700W power supplies into their bays and route power cables to the motherboard, GPUs and drives, observing proper cable management to maintain unobstructed airflow.
For sustained high-load scenarios, use server-grade cooling fans and maintain positive airflow from front to rear. Configure power supply redundancy and monitoring via compatible power distribution and management tools. When populating multiple GPUs and NVMe drives, ensure adequate thermal clearance and consider staggered fan speeds or additional ventilation to prevent thermal throttling. Verify motherboard and chassis compatibility before assembly and use anti-static precautions during installation.
