Power supply GIRA 128700
Power supply GIRA 128700 is a control device that provides power to the audio components of the Gira door communication bus. It feeds a reverse‑polarity protected, short‑circuit‑proof 2‑wire bus and offers dedicated outputs for door opener and gateway power supply in a compact white housing suitable for residential and commercial intercom installations.
The unit features self‑resetting electronic short‑circuit and overload detection for both operating voltage and bus connection, push buttons for system and door opener programming, and LED indicators showing operation, overload, system programming and door opener programming status. It includes an AC 12 V output for a common door opener, a permanent AC 12 V output for a DCS‑TC gateway and a relay output to switch a door opener with its own power supply. Door opener pulse length is continuously adjustable from 1 to 10 seconds.
Install the GIRA 128700 according to the system wiring diagram of the Gira door communication bus and connect the 2‑wire bus, door opener outputs and DCS‑TC gateway output as required. Use the built‑in buttons to enter system and door opener programming modes and observe the LED indicators for status and error signals. Adjust the door opener pulse length between 1 and 10 seconds using the dedicated control.
Mount and wire the power supply in accordance with local electrical regulations and Gira installation instructions. For safe operation, ensure correct polarity on the bus, secure connections for relays and external door openers, and verify LED status indicators after installation. If persistent overload or faults occur, consult qualified service personnel or Gira technical documentation.
