GIRO Montaro II MIPS — half helmet with hard-shell construction and integrated visor designed for trail and all-mountain cycling. How to use

Select the correct helmet size and place the helmet level on your head so the front edge sits just above the eyebrows. Use the Roc Loc Air fit dial to tighten the retention system until the helmet is snug but comfortable; adjust the height if available so the helmet covers the back of the head without tilting. Position the P.O.V. Plus visor as needed for sun and debris protection; if using goggles, fit them and engage the strap gripper at the rear. Attach compatible lights or cameras to the breakaway mount following the accessory manufacturer’s instructions. Fasten the chin strap and buckle, then adjust the side sliders so the straps form a V just below the ears. Perform a quick fit check by gently shaking your head — the helmet should remain stable.

Usage recommendations

Inspect the helmet regularly for signs of damage after impacts or crashes and replace it if cracked, deformed or compromised.
