Glorious Gaming Gateron Clear Switches Linear Silent Transparent 120 pcs
Gateron Clear mechanical switches provide a smooth, quiet linear feel for custom and prebuilt mechanical keyboards. Manufactured by Gateron and supplied in a pack of 120 pieces, these transparent switches are compatible with the Glorious Modular Mechanical Keyboard (GMMK) and many other keyboards and DIY builds. They are SMD-LED compatible, feature a + stem, and are rated for 50 million actuations, offering reliable long-term performance for typing and gaming.
These Gateron Clear switches deliver a notably smooth keystroke with reduced tactile noise compared to many other switch types. The transparent housing supports SMD-LED lighting while the silent linear design minimizes sound during actuation. With a rated lifetime of 50 million cycles and wide compatibility, they suit both full keyboard replacements and individual-key upgrades for custom builds.
For hot-swappable keyboards, remove the keycap with a keycap puller, pull the old switch from the socket, and insert a Gateron Clear switch until it seats firmly. For soldered PCBs, desolder the existing switch first, then solder the replacement Gateron Clear switch in place following proper ESD and soldering precautions. Align the + stem with compatible keycaps and, if using SMD-LEDs, ensure correct LED placement before final assembly.
Choose these Gateron Clear linear silent switches when you want a quiet, smooth typing or gaming experience with SMD-LED compatibility. Use proper tools for installation (keycap puller, switch puller, soldering iron if required) and follow anti-static handling guidelines during assembly.
