Bimetal hole saw GRAPHITE 57H908, 25 mm cutting diameter, 1 pc
The Graphite 57H908 drill hole saw is a bimetal hole cutter with progressive teeth made from high-speed steel. Designed for cutting precise holes, it is suitable for use on steel, stainless steel, wood, plastics and composite materials. The tool is supplied as a single unit and is compact and lightweight for easy handling.
Progressive-tooth geometry improves cutting efficiency and helps produce cleaner edges. Bimetal construction combines a durable cutting edge with a flexible body to resist breakage and extend tool life. High-speed steel teeth maintain hardness at cutting temperatures for consistent performance across different materials.
This hole saw is intended for through-holes in thin to moderate thickness materials; it may not be optimal for very thick metal sections or hardened steel where specialized cutters or step drills are more appropriate. It is also not designed for masonry, concrete, or ceramic materials.
Fit the hole saw to a compatible arbor and secure it in a drill with sufficient power and speed control. Mark the centre point and start drilling at low speed to establish the pilot position, then increase speed and apply steady pressure. Back the cutter out periodically to clear chips and prevent overheating. Use appropriate cutting fluid when working with metals and wear safety equipment including eye protection.
For best results, use moderate drill speed, appropriate cutting lubricant on metal, and allow the tool to cool between passes when cutting thicker sections; replace if teeth become worn or damaged.
