Hole saw GRAPHITE 57H919 bi-metal 140 mm - 1 pc
GRAPHITE 57H919 is a bi-metal hole saw with a 140 mm cutting diameter supplied as a single unit. It is designed to cut circular openings in steel, stainless steel, wood, plastics and composite materials, using progressive teeth made of high speed steel to maintain edge life and provide efficient cutting for construction, metalworking and installation tasks.
The bimetal construction combines flexibility and toughness, while progressive high-speed steel teeth give smoother penetration and longer service life compared with standard tooth geometries. A 140 mm diameter enables cutting of large holes in sheet metal and other materials with reduced need for pilot drilling when used with appropriate arbors and drill machines.
Install the hole saw on a compatible arbor and secure it to a drill with sufficient power and speed control. Mark the center of the intended hole and, if needed, use a pilot drill to guide the saw. Start drilling at low speed to establish the cut, then increase speed and apply steady, even pressure. Periodically withdraw the saw to clear chips and avoid overheating; use cutting lubricant when working with metals. After completing the cut, deburr the hole edges if required.
For metal work, use a suitable cutting lubricant, moderate speed and steady pressure; for wood and plastics, higher speeds and chip clearance improve cutting efficiency. Regularly inspect teeth for wear and replace the hole saw when cutting quality declines.
