Thermal pad GrauGear G-TMP-6W 100×100×1 mm, thermal conductivity 6 W/m·K
GrauGear G-TMP-6W thermal pad is a 100×100×1 mm interface material with a thermal conductivity of 6 W/m·K and a specific gravity of 3.2 g/cm³. It is intended to fill microscopic and macroscopic gaps between heat-generating components and heatsinks, improving thermal transfer in cooling assemblies for CPUs, GPUs, power modules and other electronic devices. The uniform 1 mm thickness provides consistent contact pressure and predictable thermal performance in applications where a compressible, electrically non-conductive gap filler is required.
The pad offers a balance of thermal performance and ease of application thanks to its 6 W/m·K conductivity and sheet form. Its 100×100 mm size covers medium-to-large contact areas without cutting multiple pieces, and the 1 mm thickness accommodates uneven surfaces while maintaining stable mechanical compression. With a specific gravity of 3.2 g/cm³ the material provides adequate conformability to irregular surfaces and consistent thermal interface behaviour across repeated installations.
Clean both contact surfaces of dust, grease and old thermal compounds before application. Measure and, if necessary, cut the thermal pad to the required size with a sharp knife or scissors, ensuring straight edges for full contact. Remove any protective liners and place the pad between the component and the heatsink, align carefully and apply even mounting pressure according to the device manufacturer’s instructions. Avoid excessive shear during assembly to prevent tearing; reassemble and torque mounting hardware uniformly to maintain consistent contact.
Use the pad where a reliable, non-liquid thermal interface is preferred and where 1 mm thickness meets the required gap. Replace the pad when it shows visible compression degradation or after repeated disassembly cycles. Store unused sheets flat in a clean, dry environment away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures to preserve material properties.
