The JATA G28 Square Black is a 28 x 28 cm grill pan designed for indoor use on compatible stovetops. Its wavy surface promotes fat-free roasting by allowing excess fats to drain away while the raised ridges create grill marks and encourage even heat distribution. The pan is PFOA-free and finished in black for a practical, easy-to-maintain cooking surface.
The wavy ridged surface enables grilling with reduced fat retention, producing seared marks and texture similar to an outdoor grill. At 28 x 28 cm, the square shape offers a larger usable area compared with a circular pan of similar diameter. The PFOA-free coating reduces exposure to that chemical class, and the pan’s materials are chosen for durability and straightforward cleaning.
Preheat the grill pan on a compatible stovetop over medium to medium-high heat before adding food to ensure even searing. Lightly oil food rather than the pan when possible to maintain the nonstick properties and reduce smoke. Place items on the ridges to obtain grill marks and avoid overcrowding to ensure proper airflow and even cooking.
