Insulation Tape GTV 0.13 mm x 19 mm x 20 m, green
Insulation Tape GTV 0.13 mm x 19 mm x 20 m, green
GTV insulation tape, 0.13 mm thick, 19 mm wide and 20 m long in green is a thin PVC adhesive tape intended for electrical insulation, cable bundling, wire marking and light abrasion protection. The tape combines flexibility with a low-profile thickness that makes it suitable for use in confined spaces, inside panels and for neat color-coding of conductors in indoor electrical installations, repair work and routine maintenance tasks.
The tape's 0.13 mm PVC film provides reliable electrical insulation while remaining flexible for wrapping irregular shapes and connectors. At 19 mm width it balances coverage and precision for individual wires or small harnesses, and the 20 m roll offers enough length for multiple small jobs. The green color allows straightforward color-coding and identification of circuits. Designed for indoor use, the adhesive is formulated to adhere to common cable sheaths and insulating materials without excessive residue when removed.
Ensure surfaces are clean and dry before application. Cut or tear the required length of tape and wrap it evenly around the cable, splice or connector with slight overlap to achieve continuous coverage. For color-coding, apply a short band around the conductor or a longer wrap for more visible marking. Press the tape firmly to secure adhesion and smooth out any air pockets. When removing, peel slowly at an angle to minimize adhesive residue on the substrate.
Use this tape for indoor electrical tasks where a thin, flexible PVC insulating tape is sufficient. Avoid prolonged exposure to direct sunlight or high temperatures and do not use as primary insulation on high-voltage or outdoor applications. Store the roll in a dry, cool place to preserve adhesive performance.
