Hager ST313 Modular Safety Transformer 230V to 12-24V AC

The Hager ST313 is a high-quality modular safety transformer engineered for seamless integration into electrical distribution boards and enclosures. This device reliably converts a standard 230V AC mains input into a safe low-voltage output of either 12V or 24V AC, making it an essential component for powering various control and signaling systems in both residential and industrial environments.

Advantages

The primary benefit of the Hager ST313 is its robust design which ensures consistent performance and electrical safety for low-voltage circuits. Its modular construction allows for quick and easy installation on standard DIN rails, saving valuable time during panel assembly. By providing selectable output voltages, it offers flexibility for different application requirements while maintaining high operational reliability and protection against short circuits and overloads.

Suitable for

• Powering doorbells and chimes
• Operating low-voltage control relays
• Supplying power to signaling and indicator lights
• Supporting building automation control circuits

This transformer is not intended for high-power applications that exceed its current rating of 1.33A at 12V or 0.67A at 24V. It is also not suitable for direct current (DC) applications, as it provides an alternating current (AC) output.

Key specifications

• Input voltage: 230V AC
• Output voltages: 12V AC or 24V AC
• Current rating: 1.33A (at 12V) or 0.67A (at 24V)
• Mounting type: DIN rail
• Design: Modular

How to use

The Hager ST313 should be installed by a qualified professional within a suitable electrical enclosure. Mount the device onto a standard DIN rail and ensure all electrical connections are tightened according to the wiring diagram provided on the unit. Select the required output voltage by connecting to the appropriate terminals before energizing the circuit. Always ensure the total load connected to the transformer does not exceed the specified current limits to prevent overheating or damage.

What to consider before purchase

• Verify the voltage requirements of your low-voltage devices
• Ensure the total power consumption of the connected load is within the transformer's capacity
• Check available space in your electrical distribution board for modular mounting

Usage recommendations

Always verify that the input and output wiring is correctly identified and secured before switching on the power supply. Regularly inspect the connections to ensure they remain tight and free from corrosion.
