SAT network switch component Hama Lypsi SE
The Hama Lypsi SE SAT network switch component allows connecting multiple receivers to a single Quad LNB, providing eight outputs for distribution of satellite and terrestrial signals. It includes a switched-mode power supply to feed the LNB and a ground terminal screw. Designed for wired installations, the unit supports 22 kHz signaling for Quad LNB control and features a silver housing with low power consumption suitable for home or small commercial satellite systems.
The device supports up to four satellite inputs plus one terrestrial input and provides eight independent outputs, enabling multiple receivers to share a single LNB. It supplies LNB power via an integrated switched-mode power supply and offers V/H switching with a 22 kHz control signal. High input decoupling reduces interference between SAT inputs, and the unit covers the full satellite reception band with typical low attenuation.
Mount the Hama Lypsi SE in a dry, ventilated location and connect the Quad LNB outputs to the four SAT inputs. Connect the terrestrial antenna to the terrestrial input. Use coaxial cables to run from the eight outputs to each receiver. Connect the ground terminal to building ground using the supplied screw. Finally, connect the mains power to the unit so the internal switched-mode supply can feed the LNB and enable 22 kHz signaling for band/polarisation switching.
For reliable reception, use quality shielded coaxial cables and keep cable runs as short as practical. Ensure the LNB and switch are properly grounded and verify that connected receivers support Quad LNB control via 22 kHz signaling.
