The Hama All in One USB Black card reader supports a wide range of memory cards including SD/SDHC/SDXC, microSD/microSDHC/microSDXC, MMC variants, Memory Stick formats, CompactFlash I & II and xD picture cards. It features a detachable USB cable for connection to a PC or notebook and offers super speed data transfer rates of up to 5 Gbps (5000 Mbit/s). The compact housing (58 × 99 × 17 mm) and included USB cable make it convenient for portable use.

How to use

Connect the detachable USB cable to the card reader and to an available USB port on your PC or notebook. Insert the appropriate memory card into the matching slot until it clicks into place. The operating system should detect the reader as an external storage device; open the drive to view, copy or move files between the card and your computer. After finishing file operations, use the system eject/safely remove procedure before disconnecting the reader or removing the card.

Usage recommendations

For best transfer performance, use UDMA-capable CompactFlash cards or UHS-I-capable SD cards and a USB port with adequate bandwidth (USB 3.0 or higher). Avoid bending the cable sharply and disconnect the device using the operating system's safe remove function to protect cards and data.
