HAMILTON KB901C Orchestral Music Stand with Solid Desk

The HAMILTON KB901C Orchestral Music Stand with Solid Desk is a professional accessory engineered for musicians, orchestras, and performance venues that demand dependable sheet music support. Combining robust construction with a reliable solid desk plate, this stand securely holds heavy music scores, books, and folders during rigorous rehearsals and live stage performances.

Advantages

This orchestral music stand provides exceptional stability thanks to its sturdy build quality, preventing tipping during active playing sessions. The solid desk surface offers complete protection for paper scores against drafts and allows for secure placement of smaller accessories like pencils or tuners. Designed for frequent transport and daily institutional use, the stand withstands the demands of schools, concert halls, and practice rooms while maintaining smooth adjustability for players of different heights and sitting positions.

Suitable for

• Orchestral rehearsals and live concert performances
• Music schools, conservatories, and practice studios
• Stage performers requiring a solid desktop surface for heavy scores
• Professional musicians and educators

When it may not be suitable

This heavy-duty orchestral stand may not be ideal for musicians who require an ultra-lightweight and compact folding stand for frequent traveling or street performances, as its solid desk plate and robust base add significant weight and bulk compared to wire travel stands.

Key specifications

• Orchestral music stand design
• Solid desk plate configuration
• Robust and stable base construction
• Adjustable height mechanism

How to use

Assemble the base securely and attach the solid desk plate according to the provided instructions. Adjust the height of the stand to your preferred eye level while seated or standing, and tighten the locking mechanism firmly to prevent slipping. Place your sheet music scores or folders flat on the solid desk surface before beginning your practice or performance.

What to consider before purchase

• Assess whether you need a solid desk plate or if an open wire music stand is sufficient
• Consider the weight and portability if you need to transport the stand frequently
• Verify the height adjustment range to ensure comfortable use during your performances

Usage recommendations: To maintain stability and longevity, regularly check and gently tighten all adjustment knobs and joints. Avoid overloading the desk plate beyond its intended capacity, and store the stand in a dry environment when not in use to protect the finish.
