HellermannTyton 596-12166 Self-Adhesive Label

The HellermannTyton 596-12166 self-adhesive label is a continuous length labeling solution designed for reliable marking and identification in industrial environments. This green label material is engineered for thermal transfer printing, allowing users to create large-sized text and barcodes. It provides secure adhesion on various surfaces, making it a dependable choice for professional organization, warehouse management, and electrical installations.

Advantages

The continuous length format allows the label to be cut to a custom length after printing to meet specific project requirements. Its high visibility green color ensures that important information stands out clearly in industrial areas. The material is compatible with thermal transfer printers and dedicated software for efficient batch processing, contributing to a consistent and professional standard across all marking applications.

Suitable for

• Warehouse and pipe labelling for industrial areas
• Identifying storage systems with barcode and location information
• General marking of parts and components
• Marking samples and blocked goods in quality assurance
• Labeling storage boxes and barrels

When it may not be suitable

This label material may not be suitable for applications that require specialized pre-printed hazard symbols or specific regulatory warnings without a thermal transfer printer system. It is also not intended for extreme environments that exceed the standard temperature and chemical resistance limits of typical thermal transfer vinyl materials.

Key specifications

• Continuous length label material
• Green color for high visibility
• Designed for thermal transfer printing
• Compatible with in-line cutters or manual cutting

How to use

Prepare the target surface by ensuring it is clean, dry, and free of dust or grease to achieve optimal adhesion. Load the continuous label roll into a compatible thermal transfer printer and utilize recommended software to design the layout with desired text, barcodes, or location information. Print the required content and cut the label to the desired length either manually or using an in-line cutter. Peel the backing and apply the label firmly onto the surface, smoothing it out to prevent air bubbles.

What to consider before purchase

• Verify compatibility with your existing thermal transfer printer model
• Check if the green color and continuous format match your specific identification requirements
• Ensure you have the appropriate ribbon type recommended for green material printing
• Consider whether manual or in-line cutting tools are needed for your workflow

For best results during printing and application, ensure the use of compatible thermal transfer printers and recommended software and ribbons as specified by the manufacturer guidelines.
