• Electrical insulation of wires and splices
• Wire bundling and cable management
• Mechanical protection for cables
• Ground and protective conductor identification

When it may not be suitable

This product may not be suitable for applications requiring extreme temperature resistance beyond standard polyolefin specifications or for environments exposed to specialized harsh chemicals. It is also not intended for structural load-bearing purposes.

Key specifications

• Material: Polyolefin
• Color: Green, Yellow
• Shrink ratio: 2:1
• Expanded diameter: 25.4 mm
• Shrink diameter: 12.7 mm
• Length: 5 meters

How to use

Select the appropriate length of tubing and cut it to size, ensuring it is slightly longer than the area that needs coverage. Slide the tubing over the cable or wire before making connections if necessary, or position it over the target section. Apply an even source of heat using a heat gun or another suitable heating tool, moving continuously along the tube until it shrinks snugly and uniformly around the object. Allow the material to cool completely before handling.

What to consider before purchase

• Verify that the expanded and shrunk diameters match your specific cable dimensions
• Check that the green and yellow color scheme is appropriate for your application
• Ensure you have a suitable heat source available for activation

Usage recommendations: Store the heat shrink tube in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight to maintain material integrity prior to application. Always follow standard safety precautions and ensure proper ventilation when using heat tools.
