helos LWL 19" Splice Box 6 x LC/APC Duplex OS2 pre-terminated grey

The helos LWL 19" Splice Box 6 x LC/APC Duplex OS2 pre-terminated grey is a professional fiber optic distribution unit designed for secure and efficient network installations in standard 19-inch racks. Delivered pre-terminated, this grey splice box streamlines deployment times in data centers, telecommunication networks, and structured cabling environments. It comes equipped with six LC/APC Duplex OS2 connections, ensuring high-performance signal transmission and reliable fiber management for demanding enterprise applications.

Advantages

This pre-terminated splice box significantly reduces installation time and minimizes the risk of splicing errors in the field. The inclusion of high-quality LC/APC Duplex OS2 connections ensures low insertion loss and excellent return loss, which is critical for high-speed single-mode fiber optic networks. Its robust 19-inch rack-mountable housing provides organized cable routing and reliable protection for sensitive splices and fibers, contributing to long-term network stability.

Suitable for

• Structured cabling systems in enterprise buildings
• Data center server racks and telecommunication rooms
• Single-mode fiber optic network expansions
• Fast deployments where pre-terminated solutions are required

When it may not be suitable

This unit is not designed for harsh outdoor environments without additional weatherproof enclosures. It may also be unsuitable for multi-mode fiber infrastructures since it is specifically configured with OS2 single-mode connections.

Key specifications

• 19-inch rack mounting compatibility
• 6 x LC/APC Duplex fiber optic connections
• OS2 single-mode fiber specification
• Pre-terminated design for rapid installation
• Color: Grey

How to use

Mount the 19-inch splice box securely into an appropriate server rack or telecommunication cabinet using standard mounting hardware. Route the incoming and outgoing fiber optic cables carefully into the housing, utilizing the internal management features to maintain proper bend radii and prevent strain. Connect your patch cords directly to the pre-terminated LC/APC Duplex adapters on the front panel to establish the network link.

What to consider before purchase

• Verify that your network infrastructure utilizes OS2 single-mode fiber cabling
• Ensure your patch cables and equipment use LC/APC connectors
• Check available rack space to confirm the unit fits standard 19-inch dimensions

Usage recommendations: Handle all fiber optic connections with care and clean connector end-faces using appropriate optical cleaning tools before mating to maintain optimal signal integrity.
