The High Peak Meran 5.0 is a compact tunnel tent for up to five people with a sewn-in polyethylene groundsheet that protects against insects and moisture. The tent offers a standing height of 2 m in the living area, space for chairs, a table and camping gear, clear windows for natural light and an inner curtain for privacy. The roof has a heat-reflective aluminium coating and the construction uses durable materials with a waterproof rating of 4 m.

Advantages

The sewn-in groundsheet and seam tape ensure all-around protection and waterproofness. Two permanent ventilations plus the High Peak “Dual Flow” 3-in-1 ventilation system reduce condensation and allow adjustable airflow in different weather conditions. Mesh doors and large mesh panels keep insects out while maintaining breathability. Durable 5 mm steel pin pegs and a strong zipper with rain flap provide secure fixing and additional water protection.

How to use

Choose a level, cleared pitch and lay out the tent with the sewn-in groundsheet flat on the ground. Assemble and insert the fiberglass poles into the appropriate sleeves or clips, then peg the tent down using the supplied 5 mm steel pin pegs for firm anchoring on hard ground. Close the rain flap over the main zipper to improve waterproofing. Use the Dual Flow ventilation settings—closed, partially open (30%–50%) or fully open—to adjust airflow in the sleeping area according to wet, dry or tropical conditions. Route electrical cables through the cable entry if you need to power appliances.

Usage recommendations
