Tent Pegs High Peak 42213 — Steel, Silver, 200 mm, 6 pcs
High Peak 42213 steel tent pegs are 200 mm long anchoring pins designed to secure tent guy lines, inner tents and groundsheets. Each peg has a flattened top with a 4 mm head height and a silver finish. Sold as a set of six, each peg weighs approximately 26 g and is intended for use in firm to medium soil conditions at campsites, festivals and outdoor shelter setups.
The pegs are made of steel for reliable holding power and durability in repeated use. Their 200 mm length provides firm penetration into compacted ground while the flattened top makes hammering and extraction easier. The uniform silver finish resists minor corrosion and provides a consistent appearance when used together. Their lightweight construction at 26 g per peg keeps the overall pack weight low for transport.
Position the peg at the required angle to the guy line or groundsheet corner and drive it into the ground until the head is flush or slightly proud, using a mallet or hammer if necessary. For best holding, drive pegs at a slight angle away from the tent to increase resistance. Remove by levering the flattened top with a suitable tool or by pulling while supporting the surrounding ground to avoid bending. Inspect pegs after use and straighten any minor bends before storage.
Use these steel pegs on firm to medium soil; for very soft, sandy or rocky ground consider longer or specialized pegs. When pitching on hard surfaces, use a groundsheet protector or place a wooden block under the hammer to reduce deformation of the peg head. Store dry and clean to minimise surface corrosion and inspect before each season.
