DVR Hikvision Pro Series 4-ch 5 MP H.265 AcuSense Black
The DVR Hikvision Pro Series 4-ch 5 MP H.265 AcuSense Black is a compact digital video recorder designed for small to medium surveillance installations. It supports up to four video input channels with a maximum recording resolution of 3840 x 2160 pixels and uses advanced H.265 Pro+ compression for efficient storage. Built-in AcuSense deep learning technology enables fast human and vehicle detection and targeted search, while support for up to a 10 TB hard disk drive allows extended retention. The recorder connects via a single Fast Ethernet (RJ-45) port and provides two USB 2.0 ports for backup and local export.
This Hikvision DVR combines high-resolution 5 MP recording with H.265 Pro+ compression to reduce bandwidth and storage consumption while preserving image detail. AcuSense deep learning improves event accuracy by distinguishing humans and vehicles from other motion, which speeds up incident review and reduces false alarms. The device’s compact form factor, black finish and 1.16 kg weight make it easy to install in cabinets or on shelves. Support for up to 32 users allows multiple operators to access live view and playback concurrently with appropriate permissions.
Install the recorder in a well-ventilated location and mount the internal HDD according to the manufacturer’s instructions before powering on. Connect cameras to the video inputs and the recorder to the network using the Fast Ethernet port; configure IP addresses and camera channels via the local interface or web client. Use the on-screen menu to set recording schedules, enable AcuSense detection for human/vehicle alerts, and configure retention policies to match available storage. Perform regular backups via the USB ports or over the network to external storage if needed.
For reliable detection and efficient storage, enable H.265 Pro+ compression and configure AcuSense sensitivity per scene. Keep firmware updated, set proper recording schedules (motion-triggered with continuous backup as required), and size the HDD capacity based on desired retention time and camera resolution.
