IP security camera Hikvision Pro Series DS-2CD2066G2H-I2U/SL(2.8MM)
The Hikvision Pro Series DS-2CD2066G2H-I2U/SL (2.8MM) is an outdoor bullet IP security camera with a 3200 × 1800 resolution and AcuSense deep-learning target classification. The camera offers a 360° rotation angle, a 115° horizontal viewing angle and a 60° vertical viewing angle. It uses a CMOS sensor, supports wired Ethernet connectivity, and is designed for ceiling or wall mounting in black or white finishes. Detection range reaches up to 64 metres, observation up to 25 metres and recognition up to 12 metres.
AcuSense-enabled classification reduces false alarms by distinguishing humans and vehicles from other motion. High 3200 × 1800 resolution combined with a wide viewing angle provides clear scene coverage for outdoor monitoring. The camera supports 30 fps capture for smooth video, and its wired Ethernet connection ensures stable network performance. Compact bullet form and ceiling/wall mounting options make it adaptable to different installation points.
This camera does not include Wi‑Fi, so installations without wired network access will require additional cabling or network infrastructure. Environments that need very long-range recognition beyond the specified 12 metres for object recognition may require higher-zoom or PTZ models.
Mount the camera on a suitable outdoor ceiling or wall surface using appropriate fasteners and ensure the camera housing is oriented to cover the desired area within the 115° horizontal and 60° vertical field of view. Connect the camera to the network via Ethernet and configure it through Hikvision-compatible NVR or software, enable AcuSense classification to reduce false alarms, and adjust image settings and detection zones for optimal performance. Verify power and network stability and test detection, observation and recognition ranges on site.
Position the camera to maximise coverage of approach paths and entrances, set detection zones to exclude moving foliage or street traffic where irrelevant, and keep the recognition area within the specified range for reliable human/vehicle identification.
