The Hikvision Pro Series DS-2CD2T86G2H-2I 4mm is an outdoor IP security camera that delivers 3840 x 2160 resolution for detailed video capture. Built in a bullet form factor with 360° rotation capability and an integrated 4 mm lens, the camera provides a 90° horizontal and 45.8° vertical field of view. A CMOS image sensor and detection range of up to 109 m support reliable surveillance in varied outdoor environments. The model supports both ceiling and wall mounting and is available in black and white finishes. AcuSense deep learning technology is incorporated to classify human and vehicle targets, improving alarm relevance and reducing false alarms.
The camera provides ultra-high-definition 4K imaging combined with a wide-angle 4 mm lens to capture fine detail across the scene. Wired Ethernet connectivity ensures stable network transmission and a 30 fps frame rate supports smooth motion rendering. Outdoor-ready placement and a robust bullet design permit flexible ceiling or wall installation. Integrated video motion detection and AcuSense human/vehicle classification streamline event filtering and enhance operational efficiency.
Install the camera on a suitable ceiling or wall mount ensuring a clear line of sight for the covered area and secure Ethernet cabling to a PoE switch or injector for power and data transmission. Configure the camera through the Hikvision management interface or compatible NVR, set the desired resolution and frame rate, and enable video motion detection and AcuSense classification to reduce irrelevant alarms. Position the camera to utilize the 90° horizontal field of view and adjust rotation as needed for optimal coverage.
