IP security camera Hikvision IDS-2CD7A46G0/P-IZHSY Bullet 2688 x 1520
The Hikvision IDS-2CD7A46G0/P-IZHSY Bullet is an outdoor IP security camera offering 2688 x 1520 resolution for detailed video capture. Designed for wired networks and flexible mounting on ceilings or walls, the camera combines a wide field of view with motorized and manual focus options. It features a CMOS sensor and a varifocal lens with a focal length range of 2.8–12 mm, enabling both broad area coverage and tighter framing when required.
The camera provides high-resolution imaging at up to 30 fps to capture smooth motion, while a wide horizontal viewing angle of 114.5° and a vertical angle of 59.3° cover large outdoor scenes. Wired Ethernet connectivity ensures reliable network performance and continuous power when PoE is available. The unit is built for outdoor placement with a white housing suitable for ceiling or wall mounting and supports video motion detection for automated alerts and event recording. Motorized focus allows remote adjustment of the focal plane, and manual focus provides fine tuning on-site.
Install the camera on a suitable ceiling or wall bracket, ensuring the mounting surface can support the device weight. Connect the unit to your wired network using Ethernet cable; if the network supports Power over Ethernet (PoE), a single cable can provide both data and power. Adjust the varifocal lens and select motorized or manual focus to obtain a clear image at the desired field of view. Configure network settings, storage targets and motion detection parameters through the camera’s web interface or compatible NVR/software according to your site requirements.
Position the camera to minimize direct exposure to strong light sources and to maximize coverage of critical areas. Use secure network practices such as changing default passwords and enabling firmware updates. For reliable long-term outdoor operation, check mounting seals and cable glands periodically and schedule regular image quality checks to confirm focus and lens alignment.
