IP security camera Hikvision Pro Series DS-2CD2T87G2H-LISU/SL(2.8MM)(EF)
The Hikvision Pro Series DS-2CD2T87G2H-LISU/SL(2.8MM)(EF) is an 8 MP Smart Hybrid ColorVu fixed bullet network camera designed for outdoor IP surveillance. It captures 3840 x 2160 resolution video with a 2.8 mm lens, offers a 105.1° horizontal field of view and a 360° rotation capability for flexible scene coverage. The camera uses a CMOS sensor and wired Ethernet connectivity to provide reliable, high-quality imaging across varied lighting conditions while helping to reduce storage and bandwidth demands.
The camera delivers high-resolution 8 MP video for clear observation and recognition at different distances, supports ColorVu technology for improved color imaging in low light, and includes motion detection to assist event-triggered recording. Its bullet form factor and wall-mount design are suitable for outdoor installations, and the wired Ethernet connection ensures stable data transmission. The combination of wide viewing angle and 360° rotation enhances placement flexibility.
Mount the camera on a stable wall surface using appropriate hardware and orient the lens to cover the desired area, taking advantage of the 360° rotation to fine-tune framing. Connect the device to a PoE-capable switch or injector via Ethernet for power and network access, then configure video settings such as resolution, frame rate, motion detection and recording schedules through the Hikvision management software or compatible NVR. Position the unit to keep the target zones within the recommended detection and recognition ranges for reliable monitoring.
For best results, install the camera at a height and angle that keeps important scene elements within its recommended detection and recognition distances, ensure stable wired network and power (PoE) connections, and configure motion detection sensitivity to reduce false alarms. Regularly check lens cleanliness and firmware updates to maintain image quality and system reliability.
