The Network Video Recorder Hikvision DS-7608NXI-K2/8P supports eight video channels with up to 4K (3840 x 2160) resolution and is designed for reliable recording and playback in professional surveillance installations. How to use
Install the recorder in a rack or on a shelf with adequate ventilation. Connect up to eight PoE cameras to the PoE ports or use the gigabit Ethernet interface for non-PoE cameras via a network switch. Insert up to two SATA hard drives and format them in the recorder menu. Configure network settings (TCP/IP, DHCP or static) and enable Hik-Connect for remote management if required. Use the on-screen menu or web client to set motion detection areas, facial recognition parameters and recording schedules. For playback, use the smart search and smart playback functions to quickly locate relevant footage.
