Video doorbell Hikvision DS-KB8113-IME1(B) 2 MP 1080p Wired, PoE, IP65, 95°×54° viewing angle
The Hikvision DS-KB8113-IME1(B) is a wired 2 MP video doorbell delivering 1080p resolution with a 95° horizontal and 54° vertical field of view. Designed for indoor and outdoor installation, the unit supports PoE (IEEE 802.3af) or 12 V DC power, uses H.264 video compression and includes WDR to improve image clarity in varying lighting. Built on an embedded Linux platform with 256 MB RAM, the doorbell integrates a microphone and speaker with noise cancellation and volume control, and provides RS-485 and exit button interfaces for integration with access control systems.
The device offers full HD video quality combined with a wide viewing angle, enabling clear identification of visitors at the door. IP65-rated protection makes it suitable for exposed external environments, while PoE support simplifies installation by allowing power and data over a single cable. On-board audio with noise cancellation supports two-way communication, and WDR helps maintain usable images in scenes with strong backlight or contrast.
Mount the doorbell in a location that provides the intended coverage area within the 95°×54° viewing angles, at a height and angle suitable for visitor identification. Connect to the building network using Ethernet for PoE power or provide 12 V DC as an alternative. If required, configure the device through the network interface using supported management tools and set audio and volume preferences. Integrate the RS-485 or exit button connections to existing access control wiring as needed and verify WDR and image settings to suit local lighting conditions.
For reliable operation, use PoE when possible to reduce cabling and ensure continuous power. Place the unit where the main entry area is centered within the field of view and avoid pointing directly at strong light sources. Regularly check and clean the lens area to maintain image clarity and schedule firmware updates via the device management interface to keep performance and security up to date.
