Video Intercom System Hikvision DS-KD8003Y-IME2
The Hikvision DS-KD8003Y-IME2 is a two-wire video intercom station in a compact black housing designed for easy retrofit of existing door entry systems. It features a 2 MP camera with a 146° horizontal and 82° vertical field of view, IR night vision up to 3 m and an IP65 rating for reliable outdoor operation. The unit supports multiple OSD languages and connects to indoor stations and a distributor using only two wires (power and audio/video), reducing installation time and cost.
The two-wire design enables fast and cost-effective upgrades by reusing existing cabling while maintaining high video and audio quality through Power Line Communication (PLC) and an advanced camera module. Modular door station options allow customization with modules such as card readers, name tags, and keypads. Weather-resistant IP65 construction and multi-language OSD increase suitability for diverse outdoor residential and small commercial installations. Mount the outdoor station at the entrance following the manufacturer’s mounting instructions and connect it to the distributor using the existing two-core cable for power and audio/video transmission.
