Product information

Description

The Hisense PX1-PRO is an ultra short throw DLP laser projector offering 2200 ANSI lumens of brightness and a native 2160p (4K) resolution. Designed for compact home cinema setups, it projects sharp images between approximately 90" and 130" using a TriChroma laser engine that extends colour reproduction to cover up to 107% of the BT.2020 colour space. The projector includes both auto and manual focus, a laser light source rated for up to 25,000 hours, support for Filmmaker Mode, HDR-compatible contrast and a range of smart features such as Android TV, Chromecast built-in and eARC for high-quality audio transmission.

Advantages

The PX1-PRO delivers a large 4K image in small rooms thanks to ultra short throw optics and Digital Lens Focus for precise sharpness. Its TriChroma laser engine produces an extended colour gamut and high colour accuracy compared with conventional lamp or LED projectors. Built-in smart platform functionality and an HDMI 2.1 port with eARC provide flexible connectivity for streaming services and lossless audio systems. Additional features such as auto geometric calibration and eye-protection auto-shutdown improve ease of setup and daily use.

Suitable for (tasks / use cases)

  • Home cinema viewing on screens from 90" to 130"
  • Watching HDR movies with Filmmaker Mode enabled
  • Streaming content and smart TV apps via Android TV
  • Use with external Dolby Atmos-capable audio systems via eARC
  • Large-screen presentations in compact living spaces

Key specifications

  • Projection technology: DLP
  • Native resolution: 2160p (3840 x 2160)
  • Native aspect ratio: 16:9
  • Brightness: 2200 ANSI lumens
  • Screen size compatibility: approx. 90" to 130" (2286 - 3302 mm)
  • Light source: TriChroma laser, lifespan up to 25,000 hours
  • Colour performance: up to 107% BT.2020 gamut
  • Weight: 11.5 kg
  • Product colour: Black

How to use

Place the PX1-PRO at the recommended ultra short throw distance from your projection surface so the projected image fills the desired screen size between 90" and 130". Power the unit and use the Digital Lens Focus and auto/manual focus controls to achieve a sharp image. Activate auto geometric calibration to align the image to the screen or wall. For best HDR and colour performance enable Filmmaker Mode and HDR-compatible settings in the projector menu. Connect source devices via HDMI 2.1 for video and use the eARC connection to integrate a compatible audio system if required. Use Android TV and Chromecast for streaming and voice control via the Google Assistant button on the remote.

Usage recommendations

For optimum image quality, use an ALR (ambient light rejecting) projection screen and a darkened viewing environment. Keep the projection area clear to allow the auto-laser shut-off safety function to operate correctly, and perform regular firmware updates through the Android TV interface to maintain smart-feature compatibility and stability.
