Barcode Scanner HiSmart XL-3610 wired USB, 1D/2D, up to 300 scans/sec
HiSmart XL-3610 wired USB barcode scanner with stand offers fast, reliable reading of 1D and 2D codes on both paper labels and screens. The device features a compact modern housing, integrated stand and a global shutter 0.3 MP CMOS sensor. It connects via USB (HID or VCP) and also supports RS232, making it compatible with Windows 7/8/10, iOS, Android and Linux. Typical uses include retail, warehousing and point-of-sale scanning where high throughput and accurate decoding are required.
The XL-3610 provides high scanning speed (up to 60 frames per second) and supports a broad set of 1D and 2D symbologies including QR, Data Matrix, PDF417 and common linear codes. It reads codes from paper and displays, has multiple interface options (USB-HID, USB-VCP, RS232), an LED indicator and buzzer for clear feedback, and a 1.5 m cable for flexible placement. The supplied stand enables hands-free scanning for faster checkout or high-volume tasks.
Connect the XL-3610 to a compatible host via the USB cable for plug-and-play operation (or use the RS232 interface if required). Place the scanner on the included stand for hands-free scanning or hold the unit and aim the sensor at the barcode. Position the code within the decoder range (approximately 60–360 mm for a 13 mil symbol) and allow the scanner to capture the image; successful reads are confirmed by the LED indicator and audible buzzer. For mobile device screens, ensure sufficient screen brightness and steady positioning while scanning.
Use the stand for repetitive or high-volume scanning to increase speed and reduce operator fatigue. Keep the scanner window clean and avoid extreme temperatures outside the specified operating range. For best results with small or low-contrast codes, increase the distance slowly within the decoding depth until reliable reads are achieved.
