How to use

Select an anchoring point clear of large roots or rocks and push the tapered end of the peg into the ground at a slight angle away from the tent or tarp. Attach the guy line or rope to the top of the peg and apply tension to set the stake firmly. For harder soil, use a mallet or hammer to drive the peg until secure; for soft soil, insert deeper or use additional pegs to distribute load. To remove, loosen tension on the line and pull the peg straight out by the head, using pliers if necessary.

Usage recommendations

For best holding performance, place pegs at an angle of approximately 20–30 degrees away from the structure and use multiple pegs for corner and midpoint points. Inspect pegs for bending or damage before reuse and avoid using them in very rocky or frozen ground where they can deform. Store dry after use to reduce corrosion risk.
