Honeywell PM45 Compact label printer Thermal transfer 203 x 203 DPI 350 mm/sec Wired Ethernet LAN
The Honeywell PM45 is a compact industrial thermal transfer label printer designed for high-volume and track-and-trace printing in manufacturing, warehousing, distribution, pharmaceutical and food & beverage environments. Built on Honeywell’s print platform, the PM45 delivers reliable 203 x 203 DPI output and fast print speeds (up to 350 mm/sec / 14 ips) while supporting a range of media and ribbon types for continuous operation.
The PM45 provides accurate print registration (up to ±0.5 mm) for barcodes, text and graphics on small components and medical labels. It offers broad connectivity including wired Ethernet and optional WWAN, supports multiple print languages and network protocols for straightforward system integration, and accepts modular interfaces such as RFID and applicator connections. The printer’s all-metal mechanism, easy-to-service printhead and tool-free platen roller replacement reduce downtime and maintenance.
Install the PM45 on a stable surface and connect it to power and the network using the wired Ethernet port or available wireless options. Load thermal transfer media and ribbon according to the user guide, adjust print registration if required, and select the correct print language and network protocol for your environment. Use Honeywell Smart Parse to modify label positioning, sizing and fonts without backend changes. Monitor printer status and diagnostics remotely with Honeywell Operational Intelligence or the device’s management interfaces.
For consistent print quality, use media and ribbons that meet Honeywell’s specifications and perform routine maintenance: clean the printhead regularly, inspect the platen roller, and replace consumables before they reach end-of-life. When integrating with automated lines or applicators, verify interface compatibility and test registration on sample labels before full deployment.
