How to use

To use the HORNIT Lava S children's helmet correctly, first measure the child's head circumference to confirm it falls within the 48 to 53 cm range. Place the helmet level on the head so that it sits low across the forehead, protecting it adequately. Adjust the side straps so they form a V-shape just beneath the ears. Fasten the chin buckle securely and adjust the chin strap until it is snug but comfortable, allowing just enough room for one finger to fit between the strap and the chin. Use the rear adjustment dial, if applicable, to fine-tune the tightness for a stable fit that does not wobble.

What to consider before purchase

• Measure your child's head circumference accurately before buying to ensure the 48 to 53 cm size range is appropriate.
• Check that the helmet is intended for the specific activities your child participates in, such as cycling or scootering.
• Ensure your child finds the helmet comfortable for extended wear during outdoor activities.

Usage recommendations: Inspect the helmet regularly for any signs of wear, cracks, or structural damage, and replace it immediately if it has sustained a significant impact. Store the helmet in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and harsh chemicals to maintain its material integrity.
