The HPE Smart Array P440 Controller is a low-profile PCIe 3.0 x8 SAS RAID controller designed for HPE ProLiant Gen9 rack and tower servers and Apollo systems. It supports 12 Gb/s SAS connectivity, eight internal physical links and offers advanced storage features such as flash-backed write cache (FBWC), transportable cache and global online spare to help maintain data availability and simplify maintenance.
